Whatever the case, though, I fell in love with the story from the first sentence, and the story still feasts on my mind from time to time.

Jack and Arabella are literally one of the sweetest couples I’ve had the joy of reading about. But there’s an aspect to them that is hard to find in books nowadays—they respect each other. And, to make things even better, they communicate. Because of that, they set a beautiful example of how a God-honoring relationship should be. But, as much as we all would like it to be, their story isn’t all cupcakes and rainbows.

Beau Smith is the new drifter to Half Circle Creek, and his intentions are far from pretty. The moment he lays eyes on Bella, his hell-bent ways begin breaking loose. As he gains the trust of the town through becoming a saddler, he worms his way into the crowd in a vile attempt to get the girl he wants, and he’s willing to do whatever it takes to get her. But when Jack goes out of town and discovers Beau’s true identity, he must race home to save Bella before it’s too late.

As I said, if you like a good, gripping Western, Before It’s Too Late is the perfect book for you. Not only is the central couple precious and swoon-worthy, but there are also incredible side characters that add so much personality to the story. And with those side characters come sweet relationships and a lively plot.
